In these days of large hotels and mega-parks, the Thunderbird Resort is still unique, managed and operated by the owners who are on the premises twenty-four hours a day to insure that your stay is a pleasant one.

The Thunderbird has a large, safe sandy beach with a floating raft. For those not so sunny days, we have a heated indoor pool. Also for our guests’ use we provide rowboats, ping-pong and basketball. Private boats are welcome and ample docking space is available.

We have a large wooded lakeside picnic and fishing area for our guests’ enjoyment. Our outdoor fireplace provides the perfect place to gather for an evening campfire.
